NATURAL FARMING

Natural farming is a chemical-free traditional farming method. Organic farming is an effective farming system in terms of soil health, water use savings and ecosystem improvement. Organic agriculture provides solutions to various problems such as food insecurity, farmer’s distress and health problems caused by global warming, climate change and natural disasters. Natural farming, as the name suggests, is the art and science of working with nature.

SELECTION PROCESS

Namma Raita Selection Committee selects the farmers who follow natural practices district wise through some important criteria. The process involves agricultural experts, progressive farmers and agricultural graduates.

MENTORING TEAM

Each district will form a skilled mentoring team for the selected farmers, which will include agricultural experts, agricultural students, national renown, and people's representatives from their respective fields.
